A.A. Degree Program

Marian Currens from Tanytown (Center) and Siona Escota from Frederick (right) have completed there Associates of Arts Degree in General Studies with a concentration in therapeutic Massage at Frederick Community College (FCC).  Marian is the first graduate of our 624 Hour Diploma program to achieve this degree at FCC.

Canada, Europe and Russia require 2000 plus hours for massage therapy education.  More 2-year programs are emerging in the USA.  Maryland requires 60 hours of college to work in any medical setting.

Synergy's articulation agreement allows one to earn a 2-year degree at Frederick Community College and transfer in Synergy's 624 hour diploma program as 20 credits of the A.A.  degree. Synergy's convenient 2-3 day per week part-time studies easily allows one to also take college courses.

Synergy Healing Arts Center and Massage School has established an agreement with HACC,  Central Pennsylvania's Community College, that the Synergy massage diploma will transfer as a block of credit hours for a A.A. degree in Health Science.  The Associate of Health Science is a degree completion program designed for credentialed or licensed health care professionals currently working in their fields.  Each student must submit a portfolio for review.  After portfolio evaluation, students can receive up to 30 credits toward the Health Science degree.  This is a selective admissions program.
