Therapeutic Massage

Deep Tissue Swedish Massage

$ 50 per hour by appointment only

Relaxation Massage:  This form of massage combines a variety of   techniques that are focused on the body's soft tissues assisting your body to release stress and tension.  One hour minimum session recommended for maximum results.

Deep tissue:  Deep tissue works through muscle tension layer by layer, reaching the deeper muscles where chronic pain and tension may be released.  this type of work is usually slower than regular body work, allowing the soft tissues to open at deeper levels.  Since deep work requires more time to release the tension in specialized areas, your treatment will not always encompass all areas of your body in one session.

Swedish Massage:  An oil massage using five types of manipulation.  Long strokes, kneading, deep circular movement, tapping, and vibration to promote relaxation, improve circulation, relieve tension, and expand the range of motion.

Ear Candling

Ear Candling is not a new alternative therapy. Dating back to the year 2500 B.C. there is evidence showing that people used and were familiar with the practice of ear candling. Ancient cultures, including the Egyptians, made reference to its use. Parchment scrolls discovered in the Orient, also have described the procedure for ear candling.

This ancient therapeutic art may have been developed with the domestication of the honeybee. Beeswax was -- and still is -- a key component to making the hollow cylinders used in the procedure. The principal cloth used by ancient Egyptians was linen made from flax (the fibers of an annual blue-flowered plant).

Today, as in times past . . . high-quality, ear candles are handmade from beeswax and unbleached cotton cloths. These specially fabricated candles are typically nine (9) to twelve (12) inches long and will burn for approximately ten minutes.

Through a process called
"convection"
. . . softer waxes and toxins will be drawn out of the ear, oxidized and turned into vapors during the procedure.

This simple and time-proven therapy can be very effective in removing old and troublesome blockages from the ear canal, without the use of solutions or probes. Many people are rediscovering the value of Ear Candling to cleanse the ear canal and sinus passages.

$ 35 initial (approximately 60 min)

$ 25 maintenance

Ear Candling is a good example of how an almost forgotten
simple and natural therapy, is now being used effectively
to solve many problems associated with the ear.
